Aris Papanearchou

Aris Papanearchou, FCCA, has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Aris currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Spotawheel, a role which they started in October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Blueground Co from 2019 to 2023, where they held positions such as Director of Accounting and Head of Accounting US. In these roles, they led the accounting and reporting team during significant revenue growth and spearheaded the setup of a finance transformation team. From 2016 to 2019, Aris served as the Financial Reporting and Consolidation Manager at Viohalco, where they were responsible for the preparation of Group Financial Statements and played a key role in automating the consolidation process. Prior to that, they worked at HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group of Companies from 2011 to 2016, serving as the Consolidation and Group Reporting Manager, as well as the Management Accountant & Controller. Before transitioning to the corporate sector, Aris spent four years at PwC Greece as a Senior, where they gained experience in conducting audits for various clients. Overall, Aris Papanearchou has accumulated extensive expertise in financial management, accounting, and reporting throughout their career.

Aris Papanearchou, FCCA pursued a degree in Economics from the National & Capodistrian University of Athens from 2000 to 2004. Later, from 2006 to 2010, Aris studied Accounting and Finance at ACCA, obtaining the ACCA degree.
