Bryan Leung

Bryan Leung is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Spotify since October 2020, specializing in scalable systems that leverage machine learning techniques, including deep learning and reinforcement learning. Prior to Spotify, Bryan served as a Data Science Advisor at Voi Technology and a Senior Data Scientist at Bird, where the first machine learning decision engine for scooter allocation was developed. Bryan's experience also includes a role as Senior Data Scientist at Deloitte Digital following the acquisition of Magnetic, and as a Data Science Engineer at Sojern, focusing on predictive modeling using travel data. Educationally, Bryan holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Rutgers University and a BA in Mathematics and Physics from UC Berkeley. Bryan's research contributions include discoveries in 3D topological insulators and a solid background in data extraction and algorithm development from roles at reputable institutions.
