Ercument Kisa

Ercument Kisa is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in software development and team leadership. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Spotify since September 2019, Ercument leads a team focused on innovating Spotify's future. Prior to this role, Ercument worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Spotify, contributing to the Core Experience tribe, which oversees key features of the mobile app. Ercument's previous experience includes managing the backend systems for Klarna's US and UK markets, developing microservices for customer debt lifecycle management. Earlier roles include significant contributions to Garanti BBVA Teknoloji, where Ercument developed enterprise Java applications for payment systems, and ImgeLab, focusing on 3D image processing for interactive advertising. Ercument holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Atılım Üniversitesi and has additional education in Computer and Systems Sciences from Stockholm University.
