Federico Tomasi

Federico Tomasi is a Senior Research Scientist at Spotify since March 2019, specializing in machine learning research focused on music personalization, particularly in generative and probabilistic machine learning. Prior to this role, Federico worked as a Research Scientist at Università degli Studi di Genova from November 2015 to March 2019, engaging in graphical models and temporal evolutions. Additional experience includes a Visiting Academic position at The University of Manchester in 2018 and a Visiting Student role at the University of Sheffield in 2015, where involvement in a computational biology project for differential gene co-expression analysis took place. Federico holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Genova, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from the same institution.
