Kelsey Messer

Kelsey Messer is an experienced finance and engineering professional currently serving as an Engineer II in Financial Engineering at Spotify since January 2019, after progressing through various roles including Senior Data Scientist and Analytics Engineer within Financial Performance Management. Prior to Spotify, Kelsey was a Finance Manager at VICE Media, overseeing operations for TV and Film Studios and Network Operations, and gained extensive experience at PwC, where responsibilities included assessing media and advertising agency performance as a Risk Assurance Senior Associate. Kelsey's career began with internships in risk assurance and accounting, leading to foundational roles in financial statement audits at Tronconi Segarra & Associates LLP. Kelsey holds a Master's Degree in Accounting with a focus on Internal Audit and Risk Management, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Accounting and Sociology from the University at Buffalo School of Management.
