Mike Seid is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. As the Product Area Tech Lead for the Machine Learning Platform at Spotify since June 2021, Mike defines technical strategy and oversees a 45-member team to enhance ML development for over 300 practitioners. Prior to Spotify, Mike served as an Engineering Manager at Capital One, where the focus was on building the enterprise data platform for Machine Learning. As the Founder and CTO of Naytev, Mike developed solutions for optimizing content sharing across social media platforms. Previous roles include Senior Frontend Engineer at NPR and Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, where Mike developed web applications for government clients. Mike holds a BS in Systems and Computer Science from the University of Rochester and has also participated in Y Combinator in 2014.
