Shin Barakan

Shin Barakan is the Head of Artist & Label Partnerships at Spotify Japan, where they manage a team and oversee relationships with labels and distribution partners. With over nine years of experience at Spotify, Shin held various roles, including Senior Editor and an interim position as Head of Editorial in Japan. Before joining Spotify, they worked as a freelance producer and radio personality in Tokyo. Shin earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Lewis and Clark College.
