Jose Nistal

Jose Nistal's work experience includes a diverse range of roles and responsibilities. Jose is currently the CEO & CIO at Zubi Capital, where they focus on impact asset management and promotes the integration of financial returns and social and environmental impact.

Prior to Zubi Capital, Jose worked as an External Advisor at Bain & Company, providing their expertise and insights. Jose also co-founded Spotlab, an AI factory and platform for medical image analysis. Additionally, they served as a Co-Founder, board member, and Interim CFO at Spotlab.

Jose has been an Advisory Board Member at Bridge for Billions, an online incubator supporting early-stage entrepreneurs. Jose is also a Co-Founder of ASN - AllStructuredNotes, a company focused on structured notes.

Previously, Jose co-founded TOQIO, where they were the CFO and played a key role in providing innovative financial services to businesses. Jose also worked as a Partner at Almagro Capital SOCIMI, a Spanish residential real estate investment trust, and participated in its public listing.

Jose's earlier experience includes their role as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Private Equity/Credit Investments at Ecofin, a London-based investment management firm. Jose also served as the Head of Research for the Europe Event Driven Fund at Cygnus Asset Management SGIIC, SA.

Before that, Jose worked as a Principal in the Private Equity division of Alantra, a leading private equity fund in Iberia. Jose was actively involved in investment, follow-up, and divestment processes, and served on several company boards.

Jose also has a degree in Frontiers of Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a degree in Global Leadership Program from Harvard University, and a degree in Empirics of Management Programme from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). In addition, they hold a BSc in Finance & Marketing & IR from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Jose completed their high school education at Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo. Jose also has certifications in Series 7, Series 63, and is FSA Registered.
