Samuel started their career as a Digital Marketing Executive at Spotlight Sports Group in May 2017, where they analyzed and managed digital marketing channels, supported product innovation through consumer research, and contributed to a digital transformation project. Samuel then moved up to the role of Performance Marketing Executive, where they managed and optimized result-driven campaigns across paid search, paid social, and PPC. After that, they served as a Senior Performance Marketing Executive, executing SEO strategies and ensuring up-to-date best practices for the group-owned websites. Samuel then became an SEO Content Manager, responsible for developing and managing on-site and off-site SEO strategies across the group to drive organic search traffic. Currently, they are the Head of SEO at Spotlight Sports Group, leading the SEO efforts and ensuring the group's websites are optimized. Prior to their time at Spotlight Sports Group, Samuel worked as a Marketing Strategist at Digital Media Edge Ltd, where they focused on content creation, digital copywriting, and inbound marketing for sport-based clients.

Samuel Nixon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Advertising from the University of Lincoln in 2016. Samuel also has additional certifications in Advanced SEO, Digital Marketing, Gambling Advertising, Google Adwords, and Marketing Fundamentals.
