Peter Nylén

Peter Nylén has extensive experience in market surveillance and regulatory compliance. Peter is currently serving as the Head of Market Surveillance at Spotlight Stock Market, where they oversee trading surveillance and issuer surveillance functions. Prior to their current role, Peter held the position of Head of Outsourced Trading Surveillance/Product Manager at Trapets AB, where they were responsible for delivering operational trading surveillance services to European firms. Peter also served as a Surveillance Expert at Trapets AB. Additionally, Peter has experience as the Head of Market Surveillance at Burgundy AB, where they ensured compliance with regulations and managed a team of surveillance specialists. Peter began their career at Finansinspektionen, where they held roles as a Senior Investigator in Market Supervision and an Economist at the Insider Register. In these positions, they investigated suspicious market abuse, managed the insider register, and provided education and guidance on market abuse regulations.

Peter Nylén attended Stockholm University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics. In 2005, they obtained the Swedsec certification.
