Alen Delic

Alen Delic has extensive experience in the field of information security. Alen currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at SpotMe since November 2020. Prior to that, they have held various roles at Hrvatska udruga menadžera sigurnosti - HUMS, including Vice President and Head of Cyber and Information Security Committee. From 2012 to 2020, they worked at Diverto LLC as a Principal Information Security Consultant, Senior Information Security Consultant, and Information Security Consultant. Alen has also worked as a Short-Term Observer (STO) at OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in 2013. Before that, they served as a Research Assistant at Open Systems and Security Laboratory from 2011 to 2012. Additionally, Alen gained experience as a Project Coordinator and Team Leader for ISO 27001 implementation projects at Event Logistics Ltd. from 2009 to 2011, and as a Marketing Intern at dm-drogerie markt Kft. in 2010.

Alen Delic completed their education at the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu from 2007 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Information and Business Systems. Prior to that, they attended XV. gimnazija from 2003 to 2007, where they received their high school diploma.

In addition to their formal education, Alen Delic has obtained several certifications. In 2011, they became a certified Lead Auditor ISO 27001 from SGS. In 2013, they completed the IT Security Strategic Planning, Policy and Leadership program from the SANS Institute. In 2014, they completed the SANS +S Training Program for the CISSP® Certification Exam, also from the SANS Institute. In 2015, they became a certified Social Engineering Pentest Professional from Social-Engineer, Inc. Finally, in 2016, they attained the Master's Level Social Engineering Expert certification from Social-Engineer, Inc. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer from ISACA.
