Roop Bassi

Roop Bassi is an experienced program manager and executive with a strong background in the live event industry and technology implementation. Currently serving as Program Manager for Global Events TechX at Cisco and Onsite Coordinator at SpotMe, Roop also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Technology Facilitators, focusing on the evolution of virtual and hybrid events. Prior experience includes a role as Sr. Technology Implementation Manager at BI WORLDWIDE, where responsibilities encompassed managing event technologies for Fortune 500 companies and adapting to post-COVID complexities. Additional roles span project management, participant engagement, and tour guiding, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota.
