Andrew Whipple

Andrew Whipple is a seasoned software engineer and product manager with extensive experience in core services, mobile applications, and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at SpotOn since February 2021, Andrew specializes in architecting and maintaining authentication and user management systems using Python and various frameworks. Previously, Andrew held multiple roles at SpotOn, including Product Manager focused on backend services and merchant solutions. Before SpotOn, Andrew worked at Groupon from 2016 to 2021, where responsibilities included managing mobile product features and enhancing the search and discovery experience. Andrew's early career involved technical and artistic roles, including co-artistic director at Stanford Shakespeare Company and writing for Ram's Head Theatrical Society. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction.
