Maalik ARBAN

Maalik ARBAN has an extensive work experience in the field of revenue management and hospitality. In 2008, they served as the Managing Director at SIPPA HOLDING until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as the Managing Director and Business Intelligence & Connectivity Business Unit Manager at Topsys, where they managed projects related to business intelligence, data visualization, pricing, yield management, and e-tourism.

In 2013, Maalik co-founded SPOTPILOT and held the position of COO until 2016. Maalik was responsible for creating and implementing the company's vision, mission, and overall strategy. Maalik also managed a team of 17 individuals. From 2016 to 2020, they served as the CEO and Co-Founder of SPOTPILOT (Solutions RMS & Reporting), where they continued to lead the company's strategic development and operations.

In 2018, Maalik joined CMH - European Center of International Hotel Management as a Professor of Revenue Management Expertise, teaching courses on yield management and the theoretical and practical aspects of revenue management. Maalik also became a Formateur Intervenant at Vatel France in 2019, where they taught courses on strategic revenue management and analytics, automation, and AI in the hospitality industry.

Most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of COO at E-AXESS + SPOTPILOT + SKIPPER, overseeing the product coherence, internal management, and business development of the newly merged entity, which specializes in RMS and reporting for the tourism industry.

In 2023, Maalik is set to become a Professor in Revenue Management at CY Cergy Paris Université, teaching courses on strategic revenue management, creating multi-source dashboards for the tourism industry, and the use of analytics, automation, and AI in revenue management.

Maalik Arban completed their Cycle Ingénieur in Sciences agronomiques at AgroParisTech from 2004 to 2008. Maalik then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Économie/Tourisme at the Institut de Recherche et d'Études Supérieures du Tourisme (IREST) from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, during the same period, they also completed a Master of Sciences & Gestion - Finance degree at Université Paris Nanterre, specializing in Finance and financial management services.
