Steven Cooper

Steven Cooper currently serves as the Deputy Fire Chief for Spotsylvania County, a position held since March 2017. Prior to this role, Steven was a Battalion Chief at Spotsylvania County Fire, Rescue and Emergency Management from December 2014 to March 2017, and a Captain at Spotsylvania County Fire & Rescue from June 1998 to May 2015. In addition, Steven gained experience as a Regional Account Manager at Goodman Specialized Vehicles from February 2013 to June 2014. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Services Administration from Columbia Southern University and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Fire Science Technology from Tidewater Community College.
