Alex Lucas

Alex Lucas has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2009, they worked as a Research Student at the University of Cambridge's Genetics Department. In 2010, they were a Junior Technical Analyst at RES Group. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Marketing Assistant at Dynamic Woman. In 2012, Alex held the position of MCR President at New College, University of Oxford, where they represented graduates' interests and oversaw daily operations and events. They also worked as a Maths Tutor at the University of Oxford during this time. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Technical Account Manager and later a Product Manager at Talent Innovations. They then joined Babylon in 2018, where they held various roles, including Product Manager, Product Lead, and Product Director until February 2022. They briefly worked as a Director of Product at Tinto from May 2022 to October 2022. In October 2022, they became a Product Management Consultant until December of the same year. Alex currently holds the role of Head of Product at Spotted Zebra, starting in January 2023.

Alex Lucas earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in DNA Nanotechnology from the University of Oxford, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended the University of Cambridge from 2007 to 2011, obtaining an MSci and BA in Natural Sciences with a focus on Physics. In addition to their academic qualifications, Alex also holds certifications in Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England, which was obtained in April 2021, and a Software Product Management Specialization from Coursera, completed in December 2017.
