David Carroll

David Carroll is the current Chief Technology Officer at Spotter. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Network of One from January 2015 to December 2018. In this role, they developed data acquisition and big data storage and analysis strategies for YouTube media asset data acquisition. David also implemented Machine Learning, big data, cloud services (AWS/GCP), neural networks and deep learning with TensorFlow, Pytorch, Keras, fast.ai. David has extensive experience with computer vision and image processing, and natural language programming. David also has a strong background in data pipeline development using Google Cloud, Dataflow/Beam, and Big Query, AWS Redshift, EC2 and S3. Lastly, they are skilled in Business Intelligence, discovery, analysis, and data storage.

Before working at Network of One, David was a Sr. Solutions Architect, Media Technology and Strategy at DIRECTV from January 2014 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for developing strategies for integration of media, broadcast, Internet, and Mobile technologies with Cloud based solutions. David also coordinated the integration of multiple development projects and developed the architecture, roadmap and strategy for the next generation of DIRECTV services. From October 2014 to December 2014, they also served as a Systems Architect in DIRECTV's Technology Exploration Group where they designed and specified new product proof of concept systems for Mobile, Broadband, and OTT services.

David Carroll's educational career includes a bachelor's degree from Pomona College in math and physics, as well as certificates in deep learning and computer science from the University of San Francisco. David also has a certification in amateur radio from the Federal Communications Commission, and certifications in natural language processing, convolutional neural networks, andintroduction to TensorFlow from Coursera. In addition, they have a CCNA certification from Cisco Systems and a Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.

They are on a team with Monica Khan - EVP, Head of Creator Community, Nic Paul - Chief Operating Officer and Board Member, and Nick Johnson - Chief Revenue Officer. Their manager is Aaron DeBevoise, CEO & Founder.
