Lucy Kennedy has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Lucy'smost recent role is as the CEO of Spottitt, a company that provides satellite derived inspections for infrastructure owners to monitor risks remotely. Prior to this, they worked at qurus as a Partner and Managing Director, where they played a key role in coordinating channel infrastructure improvement programs and guiding strategy for future projects. Lucy also worked as a QMS and Internal Auditor in the Shell projects department, where they set up and led an internal audit program and ensured constant improvement of the Quality Management System. Before qurus, Lucy worked at Procter & Gamble in various roles, including as the Technical Systems Department manager, where they managed a 1 million Euro maintenance budget and introduced the use of SAP Maintenance module. Lucy also worked as an Engineering Technology Leader, Project Engineer, and Reliability Engineer, leading various projects and making significant contributions to the company's detergent and food and beverage production lines.

Lucy Kennedy completed their education with a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, from 1993 to 1997. In 1990, they attended Uppingham School, where no specific degree or field of study is provided. Later, in 2014-2015, Lucy obtained a digital marketing certificate from Squared Online.

Additionally, Lucy has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2010, they became a Chartered member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). Moreover, they currently hold the position of Co-Chair of the EARSC Methane Monitoring Working Group, where they provide sector relevant input to the European Commission on proposed methane monitoring regulation. In 2021, they also became an Earth Observation (EO) Evangelist for Infrastructure at EARSC, working as a trusted bridge between EO technology and the infrastructure sector.
