New Product Development Engineer at SPR Therapeutics

Jordan Floyd has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2011, they volunteered at Sunshine Children's Home, a non-profit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an Advance Engineering Co-op at US Endoscopy, where they contributed to the development of endoscopic devices. In 2012, they also served as a Small Group Leader at Fallen Timbers Community Church. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Process Engineering Co-op at US Endoscopy, focusing on manufacturing support and improvement. In 2014, they were a PRO Engineering Co-op at K2M. At K2M, they continued their employment as a Development Engineer from 2015 to 2018, during which they supported product lines and worked on projects involving 3D printed titanium technology. Currently, they are employed as a New Product Development Engineer at SPR Therapeutics, Inc. beginning in 2022. Overall, Jordan Floyd has gained experience in engineering, manufacturing, and volunteer work throughout their career.

Jordan Floyd completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Toledo between 2011 and 2015. Before that, Jordan obtained an Associate of Science Degree in Pre-Biotechnology Transfer from Owens Community College from 2009 to 2011. Prior to attending college, Jordan achieved an Honors Diploma from Anthony Wayne High School between 2005 and 2009. In addition to the formal education, Jordan also obtained several certifications, including "Communication in the 21st Century Workplace," "Finance for Non-Financial Professionals," "Project Management: The Basics for Success," "Work Smarter, Not Harder: Time Management for Personal & Professional Productivity," and "Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS." These certifications were obtained from Coursera Course Certificates, with the most recent one received in August 2018.
