Leila Starwich Phr

Leila Haas PHR, SHRM-CP, joined Sprague Pest Solutions as a training specialist and was promoted to human resource director (now titled director of people operations) in 2015. In her current role, Haas works with Sprague’s executive, regional and branch management teams to identify and cultivate people talent to match Sprague’s growing service footprint. She is strong advocate of developing talent internally and is one of the architects of Sprague’s leadership development program.

A former high school teacher, Haas has a bachelor’s degree in human development and secondary education from Washington State University and a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA) QualityPro initiative and is an active member of the NPMA’s Professional Women in Pest Management group.

In her spare time, she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, the Boys and Girls Club and the Mission Creek Corrections TRAC program, as well as spending time with her son Ryder.
