Karan Kanwar

Karan Kanwar is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Spresso since January 2023, Karan co-founded HiveFive.ai in November 2018 and holds the position of CTO, where oversight of product and engineering teams has led to the creation of a proprietary referral automation platform. Karan's prior roles include Manager & Tech Lead at Hometeam, where significant contributions included the development of a health metrics collection app and real-time data insights, and CTO at Casteller, Inc., where Karan was instrumental in launching an MVP for VC presentations. Earlier positions at Rent The Runway, Fox News Channel, and IBM involved technology strategy, team management, and custom solution development. Karan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
