Angela Shay-Rivera

Angela Shay-Rivera has worked in the financial industry since 2007. Her most recent position is as a Financial Counselor at Spring Fertility since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Providence Health & Services from 2016-2019 as an Insurance Specialist and Patient Financial Navigator. Angela also worked at Progressive Insurance from 2016-2019 as a Claims Generalist and at Edward Jones from 2007-2016 as a Branch Office Administrator. During their time at Providence Health & Services, they served as the point of contact for Providence Medical Group clinics going cashless, created surveys, and participated in the analysis of results. At Progressive Insurance, they made liability decisions through scene investigations and interviewing customers, claimants and witnesses, and negotiated with customers and other insurance carriers. At Edward Jones, they prepared for appointments, provided marketing and quote information to clients, responded to client inquiries and administrative questions, managed phone calls and walk-in clients, and opened, closed and transferred accounts.

Angela Shay-Rivera attended San Francisco State University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
