Kathy Myers-Private

Creative Director at Spring Films

Kathy Myers-Private has extensive experience in the television industry, starting in 1990 as a Producer at Wall to Wall. Kathy then moved to Planet 24 in 1996 as the Head of Development. In 2000, Kathy joined the BBC as an Executive Producer, where they developed over 50 commissioned series across various genres. Kathy also played a key role in developing successful shows such as Coast, Trawlermen, and Father Brown. In 2014, Kathy became the Creative Director and Head of Development at Hello-Halo, overseeing the creation of major series commissioned by the BBC. Currently, they hold the position of Creative Director at Spring Films Ltd.

Kathy Myers-Private has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Consumer Behaviour published as Washes Whiter: The Sense and Seduction of Advertising from the University of Cambridge. Kathy also holds a degree in Social and Political Science with a focus on Advertising and psychology from the same university.
