Sarah Hancock

Software Developer II at Spring Health

Sarah Hancock started their work experience in 2017 as a Receptionist at Carnegie Guest House, where they welcomed guests and provided information about Davidson College. Sarah also worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Math and Computer Science Department from 2020 to 2021. In 2019, Sarah served as a Research Fellow at the Davidson Research Institute for Virtual Environments (DRIVE) Lab, where they analyzed data on participant and author demographics in virtual reality research. Sarah joined Spring Health in 2022 as a Software Developer. In 2020, Sarah worked as a REU Summer Intern at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science, conducting research on the distribution and dynamics of organic matter in the Chesapeake Bay using math modeling.

Sarah Hancock attended Davidson College from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In 2019, they also had the opportunity to study Computer Science at AIT-Budapest for a brief period. Additionally, in January 2022, they obtained a certification in Complexity Interactive, which was a foundational course in complex systems science offered by the Santa Fe Institute.
