Jordan Shear

Jordan Shear has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jordan started their career as an Intern at BPA in 2007, where they gained valuable experience in surveying and worked on topographic surveys for microwave towers. In 2008, they joined KLS Surveying as an Intern, specializing in cadastral surveying and timber surveys. Jordan then worked as a Field Surveyor III at christopher consultants, ltd. from 2011 to 2013, where they conducted field surveys and managed projects. From 2013 to 2014, Jordan worked as a Survey Technician at Bush Roed and Hitchings. Jordan then joined Rice Associates, Inc. as a LiDAR Technician from 2016 to 2018, utilizing LiDAR technology for mapping and surveying purposes. Their experience continued with Ameronix Corporation as a Developer from 2018 to 2022, and they further enhanced their development skills at Fuel Digital as a Developer from January to September 2022. Their most recent role is as a Data Engineer at Spring Oaks Capital, LLC, starting in October 2022. Overall, Jordan Shear has a strong background in surveying, development, and data engineering.

Jordan Shear received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geomatics from the Oregon Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Professional Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from the University of Richmond. Furthermore, Jordan Shear holds additional certifications including First Aid/CPR Certification from the American Heart Association obtained in June 2012, Land Surveyor Training (LSIT) from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), and OSHA 10 certification from OSHA.
