Aaron Archer Waterman

Aaron Archer Waterman has a diverse work experience in the fields of engineering and data science. Aaron started their career as a Software Engineer at IBM in 2007 and worked there until 2010. After that, they joined PerformanceStar LLC as a Research Scientist & Engineer, where they led a team in developing a machine learning-based prototype for analyzing semiconductor manufacturing tools. In 2014, they joined Kyron, Inc. as a Software Engineer & Data Scientist, where they developed predictive models for diagnosing patient conditions and analyzed medical data to understand the effects of co-prescribed drugs. Aaron also improved the logical capabilities of a patient data query language. In 2015, Aaron became the Head of Data Science at Lyra Health, where they focused on utilizing data to improve healthcare outcomes. At Quora, where they worked from 2018 to 2023, they held the position of Director of Engineering - Machine Learning and contributed to the development of machine learning algorithms. Currently, Aaron holds the position of VP of Engineering at Spring Discovery, a company that they joined in 2023.

Aaron Archer Waterman earned a B.S. in Computer Science from The College of New Jersey from 2001 to 2004. Aaron then pursued further education and obtained an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware from 2004 to 2006.
