Ahmed Hosny

Ahmed Hosny has a wide range of work experience in the fields of machine learning, technology, scientific advising, and research. Ahmed began their career in 2014 as a Design Technology Intern at CASE Inc. and a Research Fellow at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering. In 2015, they worked as an Independent Contractor at the Surgical Planning Laboratory at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and in 2016 they became a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab and a Machine Learning Research Scientist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In 2018, they were part of the 2018 Assembly Cohort at the MIT Media Lab and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. In 2019, they became a Scientific Advisor at Altis Labs. In 2021, they began working as a Machine Learning Scientist at Spring Discovery, and in 2022 they joined SpringTide Ventures as a Technology Partner.

Ahmed Hosny received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Maastricht University. Ahmed then obtained a Master of Design Studies in Technology from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Finally, they earned a Bachelor in Architecture from the American University of Sharjah.
