David Sharff

David Sharff is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Spring Discovery since November 2022, Sharff previously held positions at Abilitie, including Director of Technology, where oversight of a fully remote engineering team was key. Sharff has a strong background in software architecture and development, having led the overhaul and improvement of multi-player business simulation products while driving the creation of the first business operations system named Mission Control (MCON). Earlier in a career at Investortools, Inc., Sharff contributed significantly to trading, compliance, and analytics features while leading a three-person software team. Additionally, Sharff co-founded Icarus, an aerial videography company, successfully establishing it as a profitable venture.
