Assane Mbengue serves as the CEO of Spring Staffing Services since March 2017 and has been a Board Member at Brighter Horizons Academy College Preparatory since March 2019. Additionally, Assane has maintained the role of Chief Executive Officer at EMS TODAY LLC since July 2009, overseeing a multi-specialty physician practice. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Nursing Officer at Spring Hospital from March 2017 to December 2020, and working as a Firefighter for the City of Houston from March 2003 to March 2018. Assane's nursing background includes a position as Staff Registered Nurse at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood from January 2015 to February 2017 and a dual role as Physician Liaison and Registered Nurse at NORTHEAST RENAL & DIALYSIS from May 2009 to February 2014. Assane holds a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from Mishkah University and an Associate of Arts in Registered Nursing from Excelsior University. Education also includes paramedic training and fire science from Houston Community College, as well as a degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar.
