Prior to joining Springboard, Christina spent many years working in the education field across environmental, private, public, and parochial schools, supporting students in a range of learning environments and communities. Through this work, she developed a strong interest in how children learn to read and a deep belief that equitable, high-quality literacy education is a fundamental right for every child.
Christina holds a B.A. in Italian from the University of California, Davis, and an M.A. in Education with a specialization in Teaching Reading from the University of San Francisco. Her favorite childhood book is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.
