Katheryn Heinz (She/Her)

Design Strategist at Springboard Collaborative

Katheryn Heinz has spent nearly 20 years using human-centered design, lean methodology, and community organizing for social impact. She loves discovering surprising opportunities by challenging assumptions, anticipating trends, and bridging divergent ideas. Katheryn co-founded a social impact innovation hub in downtown Atlanta and designed a social innovation accelerator, coaching more than 35 founders through their innovation processes. In her role as Design Strategist at Springboard Collaborative, she gets to incorporate her professional experience in user-centered design, business analysis, and product strategy.

With a degree in film production from USC, she strongly believes in the world-changing, people-shaping power of stories and the importance of intentional design in every detail. With a degree in practical theology, she is committed to equitable systems and structures that respect and utilize the contributions of everyone. As a parent, she knows first hand the necessity for learning solutions to be designed for real life experiences and challenges. She also knows the joy of seeing her kids discover a love of reading. One of her favorite books growing up was The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats.
