Markus Kohn

Markus Kohn has over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Markus is currently serving as the General Manager at Pyramid Global Hospitality since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Vice President Operations at Springboard Hospitality from January 2019. Markus also held the position of Vice President of Operations at Schulte Hospitality Group from January 2017 to February 2019. Markus has also worked at Crescent Hotels & Resorts as Vice President of Operations from May 2014 to January 2017 and as General Manager from November 2011 to May 2014. Markus served as the General Manager at Marriott Hotel from November 2009 to December 2011. Before that, they worked at Interstate Hotels & Resorts as Marriott Hotel Downtown Los Angeles from January 2005 to January 2009. Markus started their career at Universal Hilton and towers as the Executive Chef/Director Of food and Beverage from December 1992 to September 1999. Markus also worked at Hilton Hotels and resorts as an Executive Chef from January 1985 to February 1995.

Markus Kohn completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at U.C.L.A from 1988 to 1992. Before that, they attended Portland State University from 1984 to 1988, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General without obtaining a degree.
