Eric Ast

Eric Ast is a Data Solutions Architect at Activate since September 2024, where the focus is on empowering scientists to tackle global challenges through entrepreneurship. Concurrently, Eric serves as Director and Chief Data Officer at East Data, LLC, emphasizing data-driven decision-making for mission-driven organizations. Eric also mentors students in the Data Analytics Bootcamp at Springboard, aiding their development in data analysis skills. Previously, as Director of Business Intelligence at Enervee, Eric led a team to deliver essential reporting for energy-smart buying decisions. As Senior Manager of Data and Analytics at C40 Cities, Eric managed data strategies for urban sustainability initiatives. Eric holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Technology from KTH and a Bachelor's in Systems Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia.
