Gautam also worked at InMobi as the Director of Business and Corporate Development, leading the team in signing publisher partnerships and overseeing the acquisition of Sprout. Before that, Gautam served as the Business Development Manager for InMobi in North America. Gautam began their career as a Summer Associate at Apax Partners, evaluating private equity deals in the Tech & Telecom sector. Gautam also worked as a Summer Associate at Acumen Fund, sourcing and evaluating potential investments in early-stage clean technology and energy companies. Gautam started their career as a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain and Company, advising clients in the technology, telecoms, and consumer goods sectors. Gautam's early experience includes working as a Business Analyst at Capital One.

Gautam Tambay holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management, Operations & Information Management from The Wharton School, which they earned from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 1999 to 2003.
