Rachel Broome, MS, CTRS, CARSS-1, currently serves as a Program Coordinator at the South Carolina Department of Corrections since January 2023. Additionally, Rachel has been employed as a Recreational Therapist at SpringBrook Behavioral Health since April 2020. Prior experience includes working as an Afterschool Program Employee at the School District of Pickens County from January 2019 to August 2020, and as a Patient Care Assistant at Samaritan Bed and Bath Services from October 2013 to April 2020, where Rachel provided personal care and activity planning for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Clemson University, along with an Associate of Science in Physical Sciences from Greenville Technical College.
