Alexander Jones

Alexander Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of medical writing and editing. Alexander is currently working as a Principal Medical Writer at Springer Healthcare since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Medical Director at Complete HealthVizion from March 2022 to December 2022. Alexander also served as a Principal Medical Writer at AXON Communications from October 2019 to March 2022. From 2015 to 2019, they worked at Springer Healthcare as a Senior Medical Writer and Medical Writer. Before that, they worked as a Medical Editor and Writer at SB Communications Group from December 2013 to January 2015. Alexander started their career as an Associate Medical Writer and later became an Editorial Executive at Medicus International from November 2010 to December 2013. Additionally, they have prior experience as a Resource Development Officer at Gatsby Science Enhancement Programme from August 2009 to November 2010 and as an Author/Editor at Gatsby Technology Enhancement Programme from August 2009 to November 2010. Alexander also has experience as a Synthetic Chemist at SRG (Pfizer, Sandwich) from June 2008 to June 2009. Alexander Jones has a strong background in chemistry. Alexander obtained a BSc in Chemistry from Imperial College London in 2003, followed by an MSc in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Sussex in 2004. Alexander then pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry at University College London from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Alexander has obtained several certifications, including training in Procreate, GDPR Compliance, 360-Degree Feedback, Interpersonal Communication, and various graphic design courses. Alexander is also a Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP) through the ISMPP.
