David Owusu

David Owusu has extensive work experience in the publishing industry. David started their career at Future Science Group as an Assistant Production Editor, where they developed various skills in graphic design, typesetting, and editing. David then worked as a Freelance Production Editor, delivering copy-editing and proofreading assignments.

Later, David joined Maney Publishing as a Production Editor, where they project-managed the production of multiple academic journals. David also built positive relationships with academic editors and served as a primary contact for content authors.

After that, they joined Taylor & Francis Group as a Commissioning Editor, focusing on two pharma-focused journals. David successfully enhanced the impact factors of the journals by commissioning high-impact content from well-respected authors and through promotional campaigns.

David then moved to Springer Nature as a Senior Digital Editor, where they operated as a web editor, content commissioner, and digital content producer for a diabetes educational resource. Currently, they are working at Springer Healthcare as the Head of Product.

David Owusu attended the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Neuroscience. Prior to that, they studied at Beths Grammar School, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for that period.
