Joanne Smith

Joanne Smith has a diverse work experience starting in 2007 at Springer Healthcare Communications as a Project Coordinator. Joanne then moved on to become a Senior Editorial Co-ordinator before joining Springer Healthcare Ltd in 2009. At Springer Healthcare Ltd, Joanne worked as an Associate Medical Writer before progressing to become an Operations Manager. Joanne further advanced their career at the company, assuming the role of Senior Operations Manager and eventually Operations Director.

Joanne Smith completed their education at The University of Manchester. Joanne obtained a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry in 2001, followed by an MSc in Biomolecular Archaeology in 2002. Joanne then pursued a PhD in Biochemistry, which they completed in 2005.
