Bin Cheng

Bin Cheng is a Senior Software and Data Architect at Springer Nature, where they focus on transforming data into knowledge and insights. With over a decade of experience in big data research, they have contributed to scalable and automated data services, utilizing ML/AI, NLP, and cloud computing. Previously, Cheng served as a Senior Researcher at NEC Laboratories Europe and held various roles as a visiting scholar and research scientist at institutions such as Microsoft Research Asia and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Cheng holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where they also obtained both an M.A. and a B.S. in the same field.
