Susan Penner

Susan Penner is a distinguished author and educator in the fields of nursing and public health. Since 2011, Penner has been associated with Springer Publishing Company as the author of "Economics and Financial Management for Nurses and Nurse Leaders," published in March 2013. Penner has served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of San Francisco in the School of Nursing and Health Professions since August 2005. Additional experience includes authorship with Lippincott Williams and Wilkins from 2003 to present, and a role as a commissioner for the Emeryville Commission on Aging from 2001 to 2010. Previous positions include part-time faculty at California State University, East Bay, and a volunteer with the Peace Corps from 1975 to 1977. Penner holds a DrPH in Public Health Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained between 1988 and 1992, and an MN in Nursing from Wichita State University, earned from 1983 to 1986.
