Annette Black is an experienced educational professional with over three decades in various roles within special education and teaching. Currently serving as a School Librarian and Intervention Specialist at Springfield City School District, Annette has worked extensively with low incidence and medically fragile students, as well as mentoring teachers in inclusive practices. Previous roles include Autism Intervention Specialist and ED Transition Teacher, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting students with disabilities. In addition to educational roles, Annette serves on the Board of Directors for Springfield Civic Theatre and is a stained glass artist with Locked in Glass. Annette holds a Master of Education in Reading and Writing Specialist from the University of the Cumberlands and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Special Education and Teaching from Cumberland College.
