Lorianne Dunn

Education Director at Springfield Little Theatre

Lorianne is so grateful and proud to have served as Education Director for Springfield Little Theatre for 19 years, leading a team that, together, has developed the programs, personnel, practices, and partnerships that have impacted thousands and helped elevate the organization to national attention. Lorianne’s recent Landers stage credits include direction and/or choreography for The SpongeBob Musical, Matilda, Disney’s Frozen Junior, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Newsies, West Side Story, Jesus Christ Superstar, and The Wizard of Oz. She trained with Springfield Ballet, State Ballet of Missouri, Alabama Dance Theatre, and School of American Ballet (the New York City Ballet School), holds a BFA in Dance Performance from MSU, and her choreography has won national recognition including a Dance Magazine Award Nomination for Choreographer of the Year. Awarded Springfield Regional Arts Council’s Arts Education Ozzie Award and included in Springfield Business Journal’s 20 Most Influential Women, Lorianne is also featured with Beth in “Change The Game,” the latest book by the best-selling author of “The Great Game of Business.” Lorianne would like to thank her community for its support of the arts and arts education; the Springfield Little Theatre staff, board, volunteers, and parents for their steadfast contributions; and the many passionate young students and performers who inspire us all.
