Rachel Dyas

Rachel Dyas serves as the Director of Communications, Public Relations, Media and Marketing for Springfield Public Schools District 186 since June 2022, after previously holding the Coordinator role in the same department. Earlier experience includes a nearly nine-year tenure at Springfield Clinic as a Marketing & Communications Representative, where responsibilities ranged from video production to media relations and marketing strategies. Rachel also spent time as a Dance Team Coach for Springfield Public School District 186, overseeing the Lanphier Cheerleading team's logistics and student mentoring. Previous experience at Sinclair Broadcast Group as a News Producer involved organizing top stories and crafting newscasts. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Eastern Illinois University and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Springfield College in Illinois.
