Jared Lathon

Jared Lathon is an experienced engineering professional with a background in mechanical and manufacturing engineering. Currently serving as a Water Service Center Engineering Technician at Springfield Utility Board since November 2022, Jared previously held positions as a Mechanical Engineer at Marathon Coach Inc and Pre-Tec, as well as a Product Design Engineer at Bulk Handling Systems. From September 2016 to July 2019, Jared worked as a Design and Fabrication Engineer at Stahlbush Island Farms, where responsibilities included designing solutions, budgeting, sourcing materials, creating drawing packages, and managing projects. Jared also gained hands-on experience as a Tractor Operator/Assistant Mechanic at Stahlbush Island Farms during the summer of 2015. Jared earned a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology between 2011 and 2016.
