Richard Settle

Richard Settle has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and community services. Richard started their career as an Information Technology Manager at South Central Communications - Muzak, where they were responsible for monitoring and managing the IT infrastructure for headquarters and satellite offices across the US. Richard also maintained VPN connections, servers, firewalls, and workstations.

Later, Richard worked as an IS Consultant at Elster, where they provided IT consulting services.

Currently, Richard is working at Springmoor Life Care Retirement Community since 2011. Richard initially served as the Director of Community Services and later took on the role of Executive Liaison. In this role, they oversee the daily performance of computer systems, maximizes system availability and performance, and heads the IT, Housekeeping, and Food Service departments.

Richard Settle obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Richard attended this university from 1987 to 2021. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) from Microsoft in March 2007.
