Kate Hazelton Caro

Kate Hazelton Caro is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in early childhood and lower school education. Currently serving as the Lower School and Early Childhood Admissions Director and the 4th Grade Lead Teacher at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy since August 2022, Kate previously worked at Montclair Kimberley Academy as a 3rd Grade Lead Teacher and held leadership roles in community engagement from August 2015 to August 2022. Earlier roles include positions as a Lower School Learning Specialist and Literacy Coach at The Episcopal Academy, and a Second Grade Lead ICT Teacher at Success Charter Network. Kate began their career as a Special Education Teacher at Stephen Gaynor School. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Childhood Education and Special Education from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology from Bucknell University.
