Cristina Kandesse Wang, CPA CFF MBA has over 19 years of work experience in finance and accounting. Cristina Kandesse is currently the Vice President, Controller at SpringWorks Therapeutics, where they played an integral role in successfully taking the company through the S-1 filing and IPO process. Cristina Kandesse developed and implemented accounting policies and coordinated systems and procedures to ensure readiness for the IPO. Additionally, they built and developed the accounting and finance function and platform in-house.
Prior to their current role, Cristina worked at The Rohatyn Group for 8 years as the Director, Corporate Financial Controller. Cristina Kandesse was part of the core team involved in integrating GMO RR and CVCI into TRG. Cristina Kandesse also handled the consolidation of 14 entities for monthly management reporting and cash flows package.
Before joining The Rohatyn Group, Cristina worked at Chilton Investment Company as the Corporate Accounting Manager, where they collaborated with auditors for year-end audits and conducted accounting research on new pronouncements and guidance. Earlier in their career, they served as an Associate Director at Bear Stearns, overseeing team members and ensuring timely completion of SEC filings. Cristina Kandesse also worked at Deloitte as an Audit Manager, where they managed engagements, reviewed SEC filings, and assisted clients with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
Cristina began their career as an Audit Staff at Rothstein Kass and a Staff Accountant at Mitsui & Co., Ltd. Cristina Kandesse holds a CPA and CFF designation, as well as an MBA.
Cristina Kandesse Wang, CPA CFF MBA completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Alliance University from 1996 to 1999. Later, they obtained an MBA in International Business from Pace University from 1999 to 2002.
