Karen Rose

Karen Rose, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in regulatory affairs and biopharmaceutical development with extensive experience in both industry and government. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs Ad Promo and Labeling at SpringWorks Therapeutics since December 2021, Karen previously held senior positions at Gilead Sciences, leading regulatory affairs for advertising and promotion from 2015 to 2021. Before this, experience at the FDA included Deputy Director of the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion, where oversight of drug advertising and labeling was provided, alongside leadership in oncology drug regulation. Earlier career roles included biomedical scientist at Leidos and postdoctoral fellow at the National Cancer Institute, where contributions to cancer research were made. Karen holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Tulane University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia.
