Michael Aksman

Michael Aksman has extensive work experience in financial planning and analysis roles. Michael is currently working at SpringWorks Therapeutics as the Commercial FP&A Director, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director, FP&A from January 2020 to October 2021, and as the Senior Manager, FP&A from May 2019 to January 2020.

Before joining SpringWorks Therapeutics, Michael worked at Bristol-Myers Squibb for several years. Michael held various roles in finance, including Manager of US Cardiovascular Finance from January 2018 to May 2019, Manager of US HIV Finance from May 2017 to January 2018, Manager of Pension and Stock Compensation Accounting from December 2014 to May 2017, and Supervisor of Audit Services from May 2011 to December 2014.

Prior to their time at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Michael worked at the U.S. Government Accountability Office as an Analyst from August 2009 to May 2011.

Michael started their career at KPMG US as an Audit Senior Associate, where they worked from September 2007 to July 2009.

Michael Aksman holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Accounting from Rutgers University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science, with minors in Economics and Urban Studies, also at Rutgers University, from 2003 to 2006. Additionally, they are a Certified Public Accountant certified by the state of New Jersey.
