Karl-Martin Høie has a diverse work experience. Karl-Martin started their career as a journalist at Rakkestad Avis from September 2004 to August 2007. Karl-Martin then worked as a Selger/Racingservice at Oslo Sportslager from January 2007 to December 2014. In 2015, they joined EY as a Juniorkonsulent before being promoted to Seniorkonsulent in August 2016. At EY, they worked on various projects within both the public and private sectors, focusing on areas such as change management, process improvement, digitalization, competence development, and HR improvement. Karl-Martin also conducted training in effective presentations and public speaking for different EY offices. In September 2019, they joined Coop Norge as an HR Utviklingssjef, responsible for improving and developing HR initiatives and processes, including employer branding, employee and leadership development, as well as establishing and further developing the company's trainee program within the IT field. Currently, they hold the position of Head of People at Sprint Consulting since February 2023.
Karl-Martin Høie has a diverse educational background. Karl-Martin started their education journey at Hovden Skigymnas from 2001 to 2004, where they focused on the field of study in Allmennfag. Later on, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Offentlig administrasjon og ledelse at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2006 to 2010. Karl-Martin then furthered their studies at UiO and obtained a Master's degree in Organisasjon, ledelse og arbeid (OLA) from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, in 2008 and 2009, they had the opportunity to study Complex Organizations & Conflict Management at the University of Arizona.
